3 Empties: Dream Polish Gem Glam Top Coat, Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover and PANC Top Coat

Greetings and Nailutations,

It's another installment of 3 empties, where I review 3 products I have used up and express my opinion on how well they worked, how they smelled, their packaging and if I'd make a repeat purchase.

The first product is my go to top coat Gem Glam Top Coat from Dream Polish in the scent of Bird of Paradise.  Dream Polish is in the process of reformulating some of her products, so I'm excited to see what new changes will occur.

Smell Test:  Light floral scent perfect for spring - this scent is no longer offered.
Feel Test: quick dry top coat that I use for almost all of my manis
Packaging Test: full size bottle with wide brush for easy application
Buy Again: yes, of course!

The next product is Sally Hansen's Instant Cuticle Remover.  This was my first cuticle remover product and so far it has to be my favorite.  It lasted over a year and kept my cuticles and dry skin around my nails looking great.

Smell Test: unscented
Feel or Look Test:  gel like formula so it stayed put, rinsed off nicely
Packaging: easy squeeze bottle with controlled small tip
Buy Again: yes!

The last product is a top coat from Polish Addict Nail Color.  I received this in a previous order as a mini.  I believe I have had it for over a year.

Smell Test:  smells like nail polish
Feel or Look Test:  was not fast drying - unsure if it was meant to be this way or the age of the product left it with this effect
Packaging: mini bottle with mini brush (which can be troublesome) difficult to use
Buy Again: this product is no longer offered, but if it was, I would not be interested in purchasing it due to the long dry time.

Have you tried any of these products?  What are your thoughts?

Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka @BeginNails

    1. I'm not so spoiled. When I don't smell something nice, I'm always bummed.

  2. If I find that cuticle remover I think I will try it, but so far I'm really happy with the one I have from Depend.

    1. Depend, I will have to look into that brand. The one I'm using now from Julep, I'm not digging. I prefer gel formula.

  3. The scented top coat sounds amazing :) I'm a seche vite lover and although I like the smell, it can be a bit strong! x
