Candy Drop Duo: Wishful Caking and Celebration Of Friendship

Greetings and Nailutations,

Today I am sharing 2 Candy Drop Duos!  Candy Drops are a collaboration between Candied Apple Polish and Drip Drop Nail Paint.  They come out with new duos every month - or sometimes 2 each month.

Now let's get some swatches!
First up is the Candy Drop Duo: Wishful Caking.  This duo is still available in Jessica's shop Drip Drop Nail Paint.  The 2 polishes are pastel glitter crellies.

Candied Apple Polish's contribution is Cake With Keith, which is a light pink crelly containing white matte hexes and squares as well as teal mini hexes.  This polish went on smooth and photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Drip Drop Nail Paint's polish is called Icing On The Cake.  Icing On The Cake is a light yellow cream with multi colored matte circles, micro glitters and stars.  Yellow polish is underrated and often passed up.  Poor yellow.  It is actually one of my favorite colors!  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

The second Candy Drop Duo: is called Celebration Of Friendship.  This one is sold out and again contains 2 glitter crellies.

First up is Candied Apple Polish's Chit Chat, a purple glitter crelly.  Chit Chat contains aqua, teal, white, gold and pink glitters in the shape of hexes and squares.  Such a fun color and glitter combination.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

The last polish is The Giggles from Drip Drop Nail Paint.  The Giggles is a light blue crelly with lavender hexes and blue mini shards.  Formula was perfection and photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Shiny Top Coat: Gem Glam Top Coat from www.dreampolish.com

Loves: I'm such a fan of the Candy Drop Duos.  The formulas from both CAP and DDNP are always smooth and apply perfectly.  I also love their little adventures they go on.  These are also perfect Easter colors!!

Wishes: One wish that I know others had made (due to funds) is to only have 1 duo a month, so that they didn't have to choose between 2 duos.  Both brands have agreed and are willing to do this!!

Can you see I changed my nail shape between the 2 duos?  :)  Have you tried either of these brands?

Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka @BeginNails

  8. Those mini stars actually look like they lay halfway flat! I love stars in polishes but they can be pretty aggressive in how they lay.
