Cuticula Scented Nail Tape Tutorial Water Marble

Greetings and Nailutations,

*Press Sample*
Today I'm sharing another experience with Cuticula Scented Liquid Nail Tape.  Cuticula is a liquid latex base product that is utilized during nail art to save time on clean up as well as making clean up a LOT easier.  Kristin, owner of Cuticula, sent me her mini Fall Trio in the scents of Candy Corn, Cinnamon Roll and Pumpkin Pie.  They also come with adorable nail decals that go with the scent!  My first mani, I used it for a blood splatter look, the second mani I did a sponge tutorial.  Today I will be showing a water marble tutorial.

I will be sharing another tutorial today.  This is my second (amateur filming set up), so feel free to ask any questions in the comments.

I started with a base of Candied Apple Polish Professor Bubbles and topped it with Gem Glam Top Coat from Dream Polish and let that dry.  Then I used Cuticula Scented Nail Tape in the scent of Cinnamon Roll.  Since I was water marbling, I wrapped the skin around my nail as well as all my skin up to my 2nd finger joint (finger elbow??)....the joint before the knuckle.  Water marbling can get VERY messy and Cuticula will save time in the cleaning process and prevent any staining on your skin or cuticles.  I let the Cuticula dry, then grabbed RO (Reverse Osmosis) water that was at room temperature and used Drip Drop Nail Paint's Mad Scientist and Gem Glam Top Coat from Dream Polish to create my water marble target.  Once I had my design using Pure Color #7 tool from What's Up Nails, I dipped my finger in quickly, cleaned up the surface and pulled my finger out.  I peeled off the Cuticula, did light clean up and added my top coat.

And here's another shot of the final look!

Other products used:
Polishes: Professor Bubbles from Candied Apple Polish, Mad Scientist from Drip Drop Nail Paint, Gem Glam Top Coat from Dream Polish
Products:  What's Up Nails Pure Color #7 Water Marble Tool

Loves:  LOVE the easy clean up!  Water marbling can get very messy and require a lot of acetone on your skin.  Cuticula has been a tremendous time saver for me.  The cinnamon roll smelled so good and I love that there is little glitters of brown to mimic cinnamon.  The best part is that the scent lingers on your fingers after you take it off.  I also love that it dries quickly and is very easy to use and control with the brush.  These little minis are the perfect gift for your fellow nail art addict too!  I also love that they come with nail decals to help inspire some nail art.

Wishes:  I wouldn't change anything with my experience with Cuticula Scented Nail Tape.  I'm excited to continue using it to create works of nail art!
