October Mani Of The Month Box Swatch and Review

Greetings and Nailutations,

Today I have the October Mani Of The Month box which features products from Heather's HuesDream Polish and Nails Redesigned.  October's box had the theme of Monster Mash and also had a guest contributor, Proper Polish.  Each box features a full size polish, a mini polish and assorted extra glitter all from Heather's Hues, a base coat, top coat in mini size and a nail care item from Dream Polish and an assortment of nail vinyl decals and Swarovski crystals from Nails Redesigned.

This box came with black witch hats and heart bat decals, black bat stencils and decals, red drip vinyls and black rhinestone crystals all from Nails Redesigned, and Gem Stick base coat, Gem Glam top coat and Gem Glam Cuticle Balm in the scent of Zombie Food from Dream Polish.  The special guest contributor was Proper Polish with a full size polish.

Now let's get to some swatches!
First up is my favorite of the box, a Heather's Hues polish called Vampirette.  Vampirette is a purple shimmer polish with blue, purple and green holographic powder and red micro glitter.  This polish applied perfectly and in the simulated sunlight sparkles beautifully.  Photos show 2 coats with Gem Glam Top Coat from Dream Polish.

Next is a the guest contributor polish from Proper Polish called Dr. Frankensparkle.  This green jelly is full of black shards, squares and hexes in two sizes, lavender and purple hexes and circles, gold hexes and silver micro flecks.  I love that there was no glitter fishing.  Photos show 2 coats with Gem Glam Top Coat from Dream Polish (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th photos) and matte top coat (5th, 6th and 7th photos).

The other polish from Heather's Hues is called Witches, and Werewolves, and Ghosts, Oh My!  (WWGOM for short).  WWGOM is a black crelly with purple, green and orange hex glitters in a few sizes.  The colors pop in the black crelly.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

I also did some nail art with all the fun supplies included in the box.

The first mani I used Wooooooooo! from Fangirl Polish and layered in the loose glitter that Heather's Hues included in the box.  Then I topped the mani with a matte top coat.  I loved the orange glitters and the adorable little skull and cross bone glitters.

I also created a look with Nails Redesigned drip vinyls.  I started with Sugar N Cream from 10x10 Nail Lacquer and then applied the drip vinyls and painted on ZR's Polish Ruby to give a dripping blood effect.

I also used Nails Redesigned heart bat decals with Proper Polish's Dr. Frankensparkle.  I added stripes on 2 nails and topped it with Gem Glam Top Coat from Dream Polish.

The last mani I did was using Vampirette from Heather's Hues.  After I let it dry, I used Nails Redesigned bat stencils and sponged on a gradient of MPolish's Bells of Ireland and Snowberry.  Then I topped it all off with Gem Glam Top Coat from Dream Polish.

The Dream Polish products in the box were all in the scent of Zombie Food.  The scent of Zombie Food smells like brains....or rather grapes and berries.  This scent was so popular, it was released in her shop after the mani of the month box.

Loves: I am obsessed with Vampirette.  Purple and sparkles? ....you had me at Purple!!  The vinyls and stencils from Nails Redesigned are perfect for Halloween and I've used them a few more times as well.  The scent of Zombie Food is fruity and refreshing!  And let's not forget about Proper Polish - great formula and such a fun polish.

Wishes:  Great box!  Huge assortment of products for unlimited manis this Halloween!  (And plenty to save for next year too!)

You can order the Mani Of The Month Box from any of the 3 brands above!  The contents are always a surprise and pre-orders quickly sell out.  Be sure to follow them all on Instagram  (@mydreampolish, @heathers_hues and @nails_redesigned) or their Facebook pages to updates.  I just received November's a few days ago and will be playing with the contents of that box this weekend!

Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka @BeginNails
